OUR VISION

OUR MISSION

Weave a globally connected network of Israeli HealthTech leaders, who collaborate across sectors and silos, to realize opportunities and close ecosystem gaps.

OUR STORY

8400 was founded in 2017 on the premise that HealthTech is Israel’s next economic growth engine and Israel has what it takes to become a game-changing player in the global HealthTech revolution.

A culture of innovation and multidisciplinary talent have driven Israel’s global high-tech success story. Add to this the unique assets of a digital healthcare infrastructure within a nationally orchestrated healthcare system, and Israel’s HealthTech edge becomes a no-brainer.

With a purposeful focus on diversity and inclusion as pre-conditions for growth,

8400 has pioneered a powerful network of Israeli leaders across all HealthTech functions, which is globally connected and shares a common language across the public and private sectors. Through strategic ecosystem collaborations and national programs that also engage diverse leaders from the geographic and demographic periphery, 8400 amplifies Israel’s assets to drive a HealthTech economic growth engine and accelerate cure.

I only understood the full impact of 8400 after the Fellowship concluded, when I went back to my day-to-day life and started to envision the ways the Network could make my dreams reality.
The pieces suddenly fell into place - with meetings, visits and connections through 8400, which led to the creation of small volunteer working groups spearheading projects that the hospital system was unable to lead on its own, in full partnerships with outstanding and pivotal individuals.
